Alex Bunion was born in Havana, Florida July 11, 1959. He attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida in 1978-1982. He is the husband of Vera Bunion and the father of two children, Samara and Zachary. June of 1990, Alex Bunion became a born again Christian and gave his hand to the preacher and his heart to GOD.

 In April 18, 1993, Alex was ordained as a Deacon at Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastoral ship of  Wade S. McCrae. He served as a Deacon faithfully until he was called into the ministry. Minister Bunion accepted the call to preach the gospel in July 1999.  In July 2001 Minister Bunion delivered his first official sermon.
 
January 28, 2001 Alex Bunion was called to serve as Pastor of The Church At Pine Hill in Valdosta, Georgia. Under his leadership are 31 different auxiliaries, two Deacons, five Deacons in training, two Deaconesses, four Deaconesses in training, one ordained clergy, and five licensed Ministers.
 
Presently The Church At Pine Hill has 251 members, who enjoy a wall-less Church, where Christ is all and love is law. At the Church At Pine Hill everybody is treated with dignity and respect.
